Sports-wise, Afroventures and the PiliPili Xtreme Sport Centre arrange exciting and extreme sporting activities. There are also several sporting clubs for golf, tennis and bowls. 

The locally situated Sedgefield Police Station keeps residents safe and secure, and there are many supermarkets, delis, hardware stores, pharmacies and décor stores for retail needs. One of TripAdvisor’s 10 best food markets in the world takes place in Sedgefield every Saturday morning, selling some delicious fresh farm fare, slow food and other tasty delicacies.
