Meyersdal History
Meyersdal was probably named after the Meyer Family, who originally settled on the Elandsfontein farm that Alberton was founded on around 1904. The original Meyer's farmhouse (built in 1904) has been kept in its original state and is still apparently inhabited by the Meyer family.
